You don’t have to do this journey alone.

Lisa Ripplinger, Student Intern

Lisa is currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Liberty University. Over the past four years, her professional work experience includes roles with the Department of Health and Human Services, where she was involved in supporting individuals within homeless shelters, managing crisis calls, and providing options counseling. Before this, she worked for over ten years at a faith-based nonprofit organization, assisting individuals in emergency circumstances.

Her attraction to pursuing a degree in counseling stems from a core belief in the inherent value and hope for every individual. Her approach is centered on building a genuine connection with clients, offering the support they need in a collaborative and welcoming environment. Lisa is committed to maintaining a safe space where clients can be authentic and feel accepted. As a student, she is receiving training in general practice. She is interested in learning more about various clinical issues including anxiety, depression, somatic symptoms, trauma, and adjusting to life changes. Lisa’s interest also extends to holistic care, considering all components of an individual’s life.

Given her education at a Christian University, she is interested in spiritual matters and is prepared to offer faith-based counseling for those who desire it.

Currently, Lisa offers counseling services, under the clinical supervision and licensure of Greg Molinaro. She looks forward to meeting you and would be honored to walk alongside you in your healing journey.
